Adrian Gonzalez

Adrian Gonzalez (b.1987 Los Angeles, CA) is a multi-disciplinary artist known for his work in printmaking, collage, assemblage, painting, and sculpture.  Gonzalez’s Ecuadorian, Puerto Rican, and American heritage are a source of inspiration for his work, which he describes as blended, like Spanglish, a language developed from combining Spanish and English.  Gonzalez worked as a collaborative master printer for over a decade before shifting focus to his own work.  Gonzalez has exhibited at the Harn Museum of Art (Gainesville, FL), Mildred Lane Kemper Museum of Art (St. Louis MO), Orlando Museum of Art, and the Highpoint Center for Printmaking (Minneapolis, MN), amongst others and is represented by Bruno David Gallery, St. Louis, MO.  Gonzalez is an Assistant Professor of Print Media at the University of Florida.
